World Hepatitis Day (July 28)
Viral hepatitis affects 287 million people worldwide and is the leading cause of liver cancer. However, hepatitis is preventable and treatable with fast tests, effective treatments, and a vaccine for hepatitis B. The main challenges are low awareness and stigma. This year's campaign urges everyone to break down these barriers so that elimination becomes a reality.
CPCE Health Conference 2026 (July 31)
This annual international conference is organised by PolyU CPCE. The theme for this year is "Reviewing Universal Healthcare Coverage in the Asia Pacific." The event brings together experts to discuss healthcare access and policy across the region. It serves as a key platform for sharing insights on building more inclusive and sustainable health systems.

The theme this year is "Unlocking Global Market Access for Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCM)." It covers clinical translation, regulatory policies, and global innovation pathways. Over 20 speakers from government, academia, and industry across 10 regions will share insights. The event takes place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre with online streaming available. Registration is still open for free admission.
